"A Lighter Moment in Iraq"

The Veterans Clinic in Newark, Ohio has this collage hanging in the lobby.

i FINALLY GOT TO MEET cALE'S PARENTS LAST MONTH. tHEY HAVE REPORTED THAT cALE IS BACK IN THE STATES BUT WILL be deployed again later in the year.

Some of you will remember that I had painted a picture for a Marine stationed in Iraq and sent a print of it to Iraq then sent the original to Cale Jones parents to have when he came home.

Artist Statement

Trees, bodies of water,sky,grass and all the wonders around us inspire my art. Once I have the  composition and values established I take artists liberties to paint what I see and what I feel. My goal is to have each piece of art , touch others as it has touched me.
